Be The Light Project:

Here's a thing I made for an event going on DA in the MMDC, its where you make a render for someone else as a way to spread good vibes in cheers. I got assigned to Puff-Mmd (who's a very talent MMDer/Render artist you should really check out some of her stuff if you get the chance, I'll leave a link below). I looked thru  some of Puff's faves on their DA page and saw she had section  for  Miku X Len, I dont really ship anyone hardcore in the voicaloid space, but man, I'm a sucker for fluffy romance. 

So I used that idea to make this cute and sweet comic, the idea is that Miku and Len just came back from a "totally not a date" date to try a new drink at the coffee shop, I always headcanon Len to have a sweet tooth and Miku too, so they both vibe off that fact and decide to take a trip to the local coffee shop together. Miku sees Len really enjoying his drink and is curious enough to ask for a sip, Len not really thinking lets Miku have some (another headcanon I have is that they're both airheads), before they know it the two share an indirect kiss, they're quiet  for most of the way back. For some strange reason, they comfort each other through the awkwardness by holding hands....

Its a bit cheesy and kind of out there, but it was fun to make, I wanted to challenge myself to tell a story only using a few panels (that's a thing I kind of struggle with making comics as of late) and actually sit down and try to use an understand the effect system in mmd by using some effects I've never used before (sorry, if some shots look weird, oof)

Anyway,  I hope you enjoy this thing  I made, Puff (and anyone else whom stumbled across this comic), your work really inspires me to keep trying with MMD, and maybe someday I can use effects in MMD just as cool as you do!
